"Your request could not be completed' error when transferring to Google Photos on iPhone 12

Each time I try to "Copy your photos and videos to Google Photos" and after authenticating with Google and clicking on Continue, I get the following: "Your request could not be completed. This action could not be completed because of an error. Try again later." No actual error is shown with this message.


How do I get past this error?

By contacting google support or looking at their help site.

I see this in the Dev Tools console of the browser:


privacy.apple.com/:1  Access to fetch at 'https://www.apple.com/search-services/suggestions/defaultlinks/?src=globalnav&locale=en_US' from origin 'https://privacy.apple.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
