Siri stopped announcing notifications on iPhone with AirPods and hearing aids

can you help? I’ve been until about a month ago Siri was announcing notifications each time I received a message, etc. I have AirPod twos connected. Also have hearing aids. I’ve called. Apple Support spoke with senior advisor, but none of them are able to help me. Any help appreciated
