Please - who can explain to me/us what the symbol-line in Apple Notes is?
I am using Apple Notes on an iPad Pro and concurrently on the Macbook Pro

I typically see this when I insert text written with my Apple Pencil and then delete the text. The note seems to keep a placeholder for the hand-written text. I typically use the (onscreen) keyboard and the delete key to remove those sections.

I still don't know how to handle them properly. Just today again - back and forth - and back and fort - up to the point where I untintentionally deleted a note - terrible.
Oh not to forget - handwritten text "disapeared" with all this back and forth - just gone.
And the iPad is draining the battery by the 30 seconds interval for each percent - and it is hot like ****.
Please explain that "tilted house shape" together with the line in Apple Notes
