Homepod mini recognize a language other than english

I live in Japan and am a native English speaker however I often listen to Japanese music by various artists. I added a Japanese CD to my Apple music library. I have found that Siri will not recognize another language other than english and if she does she plays something entirley different from what i want to listen to.

Any idea out there on how to make Siri understand Japanese names. My Japanese is good and my pronunciation is very good.

You can change which language for Siri to use. Only one at a time, English or Japanese. If it’s set to English and you speak Japanese to it all of a sudden, it will not understand

Alternatively, you might find it easier to create music playlists of preferred Artists or song tracks in the Apple Music App so you get exactly what you like by asking it to play that playlist and there is a Japanese music Category
