Unable to change date added for songs on MacBook Pro

It used to be that you could change a song's Date Added by removing it from your library, manually altering your system's date and time, and then adding the song back to the library, but this doesn't seem to work anymore; when I try to do this, it alters the song's Date Modified instead.

Is there another way? Or is Date Added permanently locked away from user moderation now?

Original Title: Is there any way to change Date Added on a song anymore? The "usual" technique doesn't seem to work.
