How to add apps to share sheet in iOS?

I am unable to save things from Safari when I click on the share sheet because the app I want to save it to is not in the menu nor is it in the …More section. So basically it’s not an app I can select to regularly show up on the share sheet. Sometimes the app pops up on the list and other times it doesn’t. I’ve checked to make sure everything is enabled on the app, but no luck. I’ve also contacted the developer and I’m waiting to hear back. I’m open to any and all suggestions. Thank you for your time😃

You can't add apps to the share sheet yourself.

Apps add themselves when you install them based on what developers define as supported file types.

If a file type you download is not explicitly supported by the App, then the App won't appear as an option in the share sheet.

The developer needs to add the file type as a supported file type in his app project for the App to appear in the share sheet for that file.
