My Apple Maps is taking up nearly 38GB of storage

Idk what do say besides that

i have no downloaded maps nor anything else, it just got like this recently for no reason

I don’t even use Apple Maps I prefer Google maps

I know this is a known issue I’ve just never seen it on this scale green is how much Maps is using btw

Also, check if you have stored offline Maps on your device.

Offline maps in Apple Maps are stored on your device's local storage and are independent of the app itself. Reinstalling the app won't affect these downloaded maps.

This downloaded data is stored on your device's memory.
Reinstalling the app only affects the app files, not your device's data storage where the maps reside.
