Apple Music causing library issues and playback problems on Mac

For years my library has been doing well.. since I subscribed to Apple Music my Library has gone haywire. All my songs unticked, Only some connected with my iPhone 16 Pro Max from My Mac. Playing a track on the Mac, the whole library shifts and i lose my place. I decided to cancel the Music subscription now it feels Im being punished - the library want to move all to iCloud but due to space on the phone I shut the Sync down and Im being punished again... nothing is synched and all disappeared, yet Ive paid for all my music on iTunes.

I have shut it down again and restarted the PC, Forced Quit, tried everything and now tracks are refusing to play... then they play... its like the PC has a virus installed by Apple Music.. My Next step will be to return to Android and that will mean iPhone, iPad, iWatch, Mac.. will have to go.. Im not putting up with it anymore... So...Any advice will be valuable..thanks Paul

Hi.

Sorry I don’t have a direct fix but Apple Music syncing can cause library issues after canceling. Purchased songs and subscription tracks sometimes get mixed up.

Try turning off Sync Library on all devices and manage your music manually. Signing out and back into your Apple ID can also help.
