Trying to pay PayPal via Safari on my iPhone

Trying to pay on a website with the PayPal button via Safari on my iPhone but it doesn't take me to the payment screen, only to my PayPal Account screen? It does work though via Safari on my laptop. I'm am trying to decide if the problem is Safari or PayPal ? Three people I know have tried with their iPhones and have the same problem? Does anyone have any ideas ? I believe it's only been happening in the last week or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Try downloading and using the PayPal app instead.

Given the fact your friends are experiencing the same problem, and if I had to guess, PayPal isn't working well with Safari, but only PayPal would be able to fix that. Contact them: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support

Hi John

Many thanks for your reply. I will get in touch with PayPal again tomorrow, they closed the conversation without coming back with an answer yesterday despite saying they were passing it onto their tech team! The PayPal button is embedded into a course booking programme. Kind regards, Jeanie.

You're welcome. Most likely, they are aware of the problem and are working on it, but it's unlikely they will let you know when it's fixed. Just keep trying.
