ECG on Apple Watch resets

I cannot get my Apple Watch to run an ECG. It goes 30 seconds, 29, then 28 and then back to 30 and says "stay still". I am completely still. Or, "keep your finger on the crown". It is on the crown. Has anyone figured out the solution?

Do you have dry skin? This might result in low conductivity between the Digital Crown and your body.

Is the Apple Watch snug (not tight) to your wrist. If it is too loose, the base of the Apple Watch may not be making good contact with your skin. And dry skin may impair conductivity between the Apple Watch base and your body.
