My macbook air has stopped recognizing displays through USB-C. I tried both ports, multiple displays, dongles and cables. It charges just fine and is also able to recognize keyboard and harddisks through the hubs.
Has anyone else experienced this, and found a way to solve it?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.5

Using this adapter USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter from a M3 MBA with Sequoia 15.5 and now with Tahoe B3

That is accurate. I havent made any software (nor hardware) changes. Connection to the display used to be good, then I slowly started to experience trouble connecting until now when it just flat out doesn't work.
What exactly happens, to the Display, when it is Directly Connected to the computer ( without the HUB ) ?
What make and model display...?
What type of USB-C adapter are you using..?

Yea' I should have asked what make and model the Hub/Dock is.
Or if it works connected directly to the MacBook Air instead of thru the Hub/Dock.
Your post seems to infer that external display(s) previously functioned properly.
Is that accurate ?
If so, what — if any — known system changes have been made.

I only tried through hubs. I dont have a HDMI to USB-c cable. But I tried 3 different hubs with the same result (or lack thereof)
the display is a rather old Dell display (not sure what model). But I also tried connecting to my television, and it doesnt work either.
