Changing Apple TV security questions on T-Mobile account

so, i just changed my plan on t-mobile. one of the perks was to have appletv on us. signed into register, had to change password. no biggie. however I get to the next step and it asks about security questions.I have no idea about the answers to these questions. is there a way to change these security questions online or do I need to call someone? it will not let me go any further if Idont answer security questions nor even change the questions. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Bob

Is this for your Apple Account or for your T-Mobile account?

Security questions for your Apple Account are meant to keep your Apple Account safe, as only the user would know the answers. Security questions are designed to be memorable to you, but hard for anyone else to guess.

An Apple Account is potentially much more than just for a streaming service, also hold sensitive private data and even account balance, so security is very important here.

If you are setting up your Apple Account for the first time, then you may be presented with questions for which you are asked to provide answers (anything goes as long as you can remember what you filled in), so that future asking may be compared to these answers.

Not knowing the answers when asked may lock you out of your Apple Account.

A better way is two-factor authentication, where an Apple device or trusted phone number is used to send codes to for authentication, so you don’t have to remember the answers to questions that you would have previously provided.

You may need to fill in the answers before you can set different questions or switch to two-factor authentication. Else anyone could take over your account, and you wouldn’t want that.

Sign into your account via a browser. A trusted browser. Make sure you have a backup email and phone number to use for any account issues. Create a biometric passkey for getting into your account without any problems and without a bad an actor using your password. If you are signing into Apple TV on your smart TV, and if you just changed your password successfully, sign in using that password. Apple Accounts don’t use security questions due to security issues with questions having that ask “where were you born?” Are you sure it’s Apple asking you these questions? For now, you ought to use AirPlay or Mirroring to watch Apple TV on your TV. I don’t want you to become a victim to a man in the middle attack. If you forgot your Apple password, they’ll ask you to give your 6 digit number to get into iPhone/ipad, or password for Mac. No security questions
