Unable to attach files in Mail on Mac Studio running macOS 15.5

I'm using a Mac Studio running 15.5 and for the last year or so I keep having this problem and can't find a solution. I've seen other people describe the same issue, but haven't seen an answer.

I've been getting this message every time I try to send an email and add an attachment. I don't have this issue on my laptop or if I login through a browser.

It's very frustrating. Please help.

Wondering if the ssttings on MacStudio are the same as those on the laptop:

Eg: You can Verify an email account’s outgoing server in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Seems sending attachments in MacOS Mail generally works best the way Apple has set it up to work.

Perhaps Apple Support's online articles for MacOS Sequoia (links below) can help

See how to: Add attachments to emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Send files in emails

  1. Go to the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Open the message you’re writing, then click in the toolbar.
  3. Locate a file, select it, then click Choose File.

You can also drag files from the desktop, the Finder, or an app into your message."

Above article also says:

"If the message size shown on the left side of the message header is red, the attachments are causing your message to exceed size limits set by your email account provider. Try reducing the number or size of attachments, or use Mail Drop. See Send large attachments in Mail "

and
