how do i delete imported photos on my iPad Pro
I would like to delete some photos that I imported from my phone to my iPad . Is there any way to do this?? When I select the photos I want to delete, the trash icon is greyed out.

When you use a cable and Finder to transfer pictures from a computer to iPad, the pictures are shown in Photos, but they aren't really owned by Photos, so you can't delete or edit them--the control is left for Finder. When you add new pictures with Finder, the previous ones are removed. So the way to remove some of the last pictures you transferred is to transfer again, but without those pictures.
Try that and see if it does what you want…
Can;’r save to files. When I select, the only options are - copy, duplicate, add to album, and share. I just need to delete them.
Does this show up only after I've selected to share photos to iCloud?? I can't find it on that page.
