Frustrating Battery performance & Screen time on new macbook m4 pro

I bought my macbook m4 pro last week on 07/07/2025 from iplanet indiranagar Bengaluru as i live in Bengaluru currently and there are only 2 official apple store in India one in Delhi and other one is in Mumbai, after a use of 1 week i observed there is a significant amount of shortage in screen time and battery performance (6-8)hrs for working on gcp cloud platform and nothing major plays in background apart from shotrr(screen capture) , bartender(system monitoring software), at the time of purchased it was promised about 22 hrs of screen time on video streaming; and 14 hours of wireless web browsing; as i was not doing any one of them and just accessing gcp through web-browser(chrome);

My friend is using same device he is getting 16-18 hours working on x code , vs-code & YouTube,chrome who bought from another place ;

Now when I taken my laptop to iplanet care(apple authorised service centre) they checked in diagnostic; and told me to take backup and do os installation even after that ,the screen time was found 5 hrs even after cleaning the os by iplanet care technician; the battery status is still 100% , when I submitted v/s when I seen after service in macbook ios description; but this problem Persist even after fresh install of OS. I clearly see as a customer this is manufacturing defect;

What is this service apple?

Clearly frustrated for new macbook pro m4?
