Accessing Music via Carplay from iCloud in Evermusic App

I use a 3rd party app called Evermusic to listen to my music collection that I have in iCloud. My music in icloud is located in a main folder called MUSIC and within this are sub-folders named after the artists. On my iphone (13 Pro) I can access this music using the Evermusic app by pressing the Connection button and going through the folder structure. There are no issues up to this point.

However as soon as I connect my iphone to my car via Carplay then issues arise. I can see the Evermusic app icon and when I press the Connnection button I can see the MUSIC folder but beyond this I cannot see the sub-folders or the music within the sub-folders. My ios sonftware is upto date as is my Evermusic software.

The issues only arose 4 weeks ago and prior to this everything was working fine even on Carplay.

I have tried connecting my iphone to a different car and the problem is still there. I have also installed the Evermusic app on a different phone and connected the phone to my car but the problem is still there. This makes me think that the problem is with either the Evermusic app or Carplay in terms of setting or recent additional restrictions during software update and NOT the car infotainment system.

Can someone help me resolve this issue please? I have tried contacting Evermusic support but not received an answer.

Regards
