How do I stop syncing 1 particular folder in my iPhotos into my iCloud

I have 1 folder in my iPhotos where I save all my jpeg/raw photos. This is where I upload them from my camera. They are very large and I only want to save the ones I edit and like into my iCloud not every photo I take. I would like to decouple 1 folder where I upload all my camera photos but I cannot figure it out. I am running Sequoia 15.5.

You cannot. Your Photo Library is either synced or it is not, there is no in between where some of it can be synced. You can create a folder on your Desktop or Downloads folder and store the uploads from your camera there and only import the ones you want synced to your Photos app. Viewing the photos in that Desktop/Downloads folder is still possible without importing them into Photos as they will open in the Preview app.
