Transferring data from Android to iPhone 6e: Move to iOS or iCloud backup?

I just bought an iPhone 6e 128gb. I had been using a Motorola g45 for 3 months. I had been using an iPhone 7 before that.

I have a 3 month iCloud backup of that iPhone 7.

I also have an iPad Air m2 13”, Apple TV 2021.

Now, Should I use the MovetoiOS app on android or the 3 month old iCloud backup to setup my new iPhone 6e?

I don’t know enough about what either of both procedures do to make an intelligent decision. I’m guessing if I use iCloud backup I lose my last 3 months of messages and call history. If I use movetoiOS I lose tons of app data?

That is up for you to decide what data you value more and then go from there.
