How can I stop the Dictionary from popping up on MacBook Air?

Hi, I have an issue where the dictionary keeps popping up whenever I highlight sentences etc. I've found similar threads but the steps I've seen aren't available on my macbook (its an air 2024).

Does anyone know how to turn this off?

Hi,

You need to disable the "Look Up" feature in the Trackpad settings. Go to System Settings > Trackpad > Point & Click, and then uncheck the box next to "Look Up & Data Detectors".
