Organizing Imported MP3s into Albums within Apple Music
Howdy!
I'm pretty new to all of this, so please bear with me.
I am importing some MP3s into my Apple Music Library (they are converted from lecture recordings of a class I'm taking, so that I can listen to them on the go). I am still in the process of all the necessary conversions and downloads, but have started to import some of these items into my music library. (I am doing this all on a MacBook Pro, btw, though I hope to sync the end result to my phone eventually.)
Anyways, I've got one thing uploaded so far, and it's automatically combined into a single album with an unrelated MP3 I imported a few months ago.
My goal is to have all of the lecture recordings (and only the lecture recordings) in one "album"; if possible, I'd especially like to be able to seperate that album into sections/discs (like some very long albums do: eg, "Live at Radio City Music Hall" by Goose, or just about any King Crimson live album) to distinguish between pre- and post-midterm. Finally, as this class is ongoing, I want to be able to ensure that I can continue adding tracks as more lectures take place and I can add in more recordings.
How can I go about tackling the organization of all of this? So far, I've only been able to find this page, which seems more focused on organizing the backend, and I'm unclear on if, or how, that will impact the organization within the music library itself.
