iphone message shows "sender not in contact list" when they are

iphone 15, ios 18.5, I sometimes send message to self, so can share some pic or msg from iphone to Mac, but notice whenever I put in my info it shows "sender not in contact list" when it IS. My "account info" is at top of my contact list, so how can I make my name appear there and this message to stop?
