Apple Music App won't automatically play the next song on my Apple Watch

Same problem as noted here (doesn’t make sense why Apple makes us clone threads and not just ask in the existing ones ¯\_(ツ)_/¯):

Watch and phone are both on latest versions. But issue is identical. Local music on watch, that won’t continue once a song is done.
