How do I keep conversations unorganized on iPhone 15 Mail app?

I want to keep my e-mails ungrouped, so I uncheck 'organize by conversation'.

The stupid thing is I have to do this over and over again; like everyday.

Is there a way to 'save' this as default or something.

It's getting me a little crazy.
