verification error,
i have currently got a new phone and want to transfer my data from my old to my new but unfortunately when i try sign into my icloud it comes up with verification error an unknown error has occurred?
does anyone know how to fix this as i’ve tried everything on apples website and nothing seems to work.

To fix the iCloud "verification error" on your new phone, first try a different network by switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data, or vice versa, as this is the most common cause. If that fails, the most effective solution is to manually generate a verification code on your old phone by going to Settings > Your Name > Password & Security > Get Verification Code. On your new phone, immediately try signing in again by entering your password followed by the six-digit code directly into the same password field.
Restarting both phones and checking Apple's official System Status page online can also resolve temporary glitches. If the issue continues, skip the iCloud login during the initial phone setup and instead sign in from the Settings app once you reach the home screen.
