Since yesterday I am not receiving any texts containing verification code from various merchants when I try to sign in. Anyone else experience the same problem? I am using iPhone 14.

Unfortunately, that is far too often the Standard Tier-1 CSR answer.
The service is provisioned by your carrier, and if it’s not working …
… you need to keep pressing them to resolve.
It shouldn’t be that way … but unfortunately, it IS just the way things are.
That is all handled by your carrier.
As to what your carrier might DO with the “Junk” reports, I unfortunately do not know. (and it likely varies by carrier)
Clearly, reporting Junk shouldn’t turn off ALL commercial SMSs …
That said, since you said that these were all from merchants … who generally use large commercial services to send these TOTP codes …
… I “suspect” that they might indeed be getting hung-up in some sort of carrier-side SMS SPAM filtering.
Just so others could see this. I was able to get in touch with tech support guy from ATT yesterday and he fixed the issue in a couple of minutes by syncing my device with their wireless network. Not sure what that means but I'm getting these texts again. Thanks for the pointers.
You need to contact your carrier.
Delivery of SMS is a carrier-provided app.
I actually did before I posted and they did not find anything. Complete mystery.
I had to block a handful of spam messages in the past few days. Do you think it may have triggered something on provider side? Who’s responsible for Delete and Report Junk feature? Provider or Apple?
