Does your daughter’s location in Find My show as either a circle, “Offline”, or “No Location Found”? Or does she not show up at all as a friend?
Your iPhone's location depends on a number of factors and accuracy can be affected by that, GPS, Wi-Fi and/or cellular signal, positioning to the nearest cell tower, etc.
