I just got my iPhone yesterday, brand new, I imported my number from straight talk and now apps like my banking app, Life360, and others don’t send me verification codes through text. Is there a way to fix it?

I did keep my old number. I receive all message but the ones from like my bank or life 360 or anything else. My drs office comes through but none from them. I got them on my old phone but not now
Did you keep your old phone number? If that is the case, check 1. if you have received the authorizations per text previously as well, and 2. if you receive any text messages
if you have changed your phone number, you need to communicate this change to the services that require your mobile number.
You don’t have switched your carrier either, right? Because I’d imagine there could be a problem with that.
anyways, first, try this: go to messages in settings. Toggle off send as text message, then toggle back on, go to MMS messaging, toggle on and off, then RCS messaging, toggle on and off, then restart your iPhone.
if this does not resolve the problem, please contact your carrier.
