Safari 18.5 > settings > Password does not work.

safari 18.5>settings>Password does not work.

Password App is not available for MBP 2017 OS Ventura 13.7.6 is not in the App Store or showing up in Applications

Furthermore, keyboard command [ Command , ] doesn't open settings if it was last closed on password. Open Safari in Safe mode doesn't work.

If the screenshot you provided is accurate it appears that clicking the Passwords tab results in the General tab. That, of course, is not expected behavior and could indicate a corrupted installation.

As a troubleshooting step create a new user account on your MacBook and launch Safari from that user account. If Safari brings up the proper tab then something is wrong with your normal account.
