midi note labels do not stick in Logic!?! They default to OFF

I am always having to turn on MIDI note labels every time I open a MIDI region. Why do these settings not stick?

Create and save a project as template and start your work from there.

I can not reproduce your issue. Even after closing and re-opening the project it's still displayed, also on new created regions on other tracks.

Logic 11.2.1 (silicon native), MacOS 15.5, MBP M2
