I took a video of my dog. It was to long, so I went to edit it, as I’ve done a thousand times on iPhone 14, and I’m pretty sure I’ve edited videos on this phone (iPhone 16 pro max). But when I tried tonight there was no word “Edit “ in the top right corner of the screen. Why is this ?

I'm not sure about the "top right corner" thing, but Edit is this icon:
which looks like this
and is supposed to remind you of the editing sliders, like this:
When I tap that, I get this
with the ability to choose the video duration.
Do you not see this?
