Greyed out files on my iCloud ?
have items on my iPhone which I can see but while using the likes of Microsoft co pilot it doesn’t see the files . They can be opened on the phone but not available to Microsoft co pilot .

The reason you're experiencing this is likely because the files visible in your iPhone's native Files app or iCloud Drive haven't yet been synced or made accessible to Microsoft's cloud services, such as OneDrive or SharePoint, which are the primary sources Microsoft Copilot uses to access and analyze your data.
To fix this and ensure Microsoft Copilot can see these files, first verify that the files are saved or synced to a location that Microsoft Copilot recognizes. For example, Microsoft Copilot primarily accesses files stored on OneDrive, SharePoint, or directly in Microsoft apps like Word or Excel. Files stored only locally on your iPhone or exclusively in Apple’s iCloud will not be accessible to Copilot.
To resolve this, open your Files app on your iPhone, locate the file you want Microsoft Copilot to access, tap and hold it, then select "Share" and upload or save it to OneDrive or a Microsoft-supported location. Once uploaded to OneDrive, these files will become visible and accessible to Microsoft Copilot.
Alternatively, if you frequently use Microsoft services, it may be convenient to directly save new files or documents to OneDrive by default. You can enable this by downloading the OneDrive app, signing in with your Microsoft account, and configuring file uploads directly within that app.
By placing your files directly into Microsoft-supported cloud storage, you'll ensure they become immediately accessible and usable by Microsoft Copilot across your devices.
