Exported HEIC photos from the Photos app are dull and lose HDR info

As these two post says:

photos app exported photos are too dull, HDR info lost

one solution is using drag and drop from photos app to finder, then HDR info is kept, but only in jpeg format

can Apple fix the problem so that exported heic can also keep HDR info?

We are not Apple; folks who read these posts are just users like you, and we don't know what Apple plans.

Have you tried File>Export>Export Unmodified Originals?

By the way, Drag & Drop exporting is not explicitly supported in Photos, so you never know what you'll get-- there are lots of choices with export, and how it works has changed with OS versions. I drag pictures from Photos only when I don't care much what I get.

I have try all the export options but only Drag & Drop works.

You haven't said what sort of device you're using, a Mac? an iPhone? an iPad? a watch? Apple TV? You also haven't said what OS you are using? …makes it hard to suggest anything.
