can i pay payment plan with an international card or bank account?

I have a remaining balance in my Apple Card and I want to make a payment plan with installments but I live in Europe. Can I pay with my European card or bank account and how? Is that possible? Does anyone know the process? Thank you

I'm no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

Wondering if the payment plan is for a product purchase you made from Apple,

or

whether you have a payment plan with a third-party company, and you want to pay installments using Apple Card

Ahh! Thank you for explaining, stavro333 ... if I understand correctly, seems you want to pay off the amount you still owe to Apple in instalments using the international cards you have in Europe. (The cards, (eg: if added to wallet, or used with Apple Pay) should be ok.) If needed: Apple Pay participating banks in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East - Apple Support

Installment plans are generally set up at the checkout when making a purchase from Apple. Sorry I don't know whether or not an instalment plan can be set up in order to pay off a remaining balance. (As Apple users, like yourself, in the community here, we can not speak for Apple, and have no access to your accounts or details.)

You may want to speak with someone at Apple Support in the country you are in:

In the linked "contact" article below, you can scroll down to: "Connect with live support" and choose the country you are in, to be shown the correct phone number: How to: Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

Else, if need be, and your Apple card has enough credit, you could likely just pay however much you want when convenient, and pay the interest charged on what remains.

See: How to avoid or lower Apple Card interest charges - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"How interest is estimated "

If you're unable to pay your monthly balance by the statement due date, Apple Card makes it easy to see how much you need to pay to lower your interest charges.1 Estimated interest charges are automatically calculated and presented to you any time that you make a one-time payment in the Wallet app."

and

"Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI) is a 0% APR payment option that is only available if you select it at checkout in the U.S. for eligible products purchased at Apple Store locations, apple.com, the Apple Store app, or by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE, and is subject to credit approval and credit limit.

See support.apple.com/102730 for more information about eligible products. Existing customers: See your Customer Agreement for your variable APR."

There is a great deal more info. in that "How to avoid ..." article.

Apple only offers installment plans for the purchase of Apple products in the US. Apple does not offer any installment plans online or in Apple Retail Stores outside the US.

You’ll need to send funds directly to Goldman Sachs, to satisfy any outstanding balance. At least in the US you cannot use credit or debit cards to make payments on a credit card account.

You may need to write to Goldman Sachs to figure out a way to pay any outstanding balance on your account.

CONTACTING — Goldman Sachs Bank

  • Write to: Goldman Sachs Bank, Lockbox 6112, P.O. Box 7247, Philadelphia, PA 19170-6112.

Do you have funds in your Apple Accont you want to use or an Apple Card Mastercard issued by Goldman Sachs Bank? People occasionally confuse the two separate, but similar accounts. Goldman Sachs does offer an installment plan for the purchase of some Apple products. The Apple Card (Goldman Sachs) Monthly Installments are only available in the US. Are you in the US, it doesn’t sound like it? Apple does not offer instrument plan purchases outside of what is offered by Apple Card (Goldman Sachs).

What account/card do you have and what country are you in?

Hey Jeff! That’s correct I’m talking about Goldman Sachs Mastercard that they offer the installment plan. I don’t want to use any funds I just want to pay off the remaining balance I owe using Apple Card. I talked with an agent and she was so bored to explain and the only thing she mention was to convert to a US Bank with no details or how to do this with my bank. I’m in Greece and I can’t add my bank account when I want to pay the installment. I’ll try to talk with another more educated agent if they can help me. Thanks for your respond.
