Custom Compressor presets not showing in Final Cut Pro on Mac with Sequoia 15.5

I'm currently editing and created a custom preset in Compressor. However, when I continue editing in Final Cut (version 11.10) and try to export using that preset, I can't see any of the settings — neither the default ones nor the custom ones I created in Compressor (version 4.10). Laptop M4 Max sequoia 15.5.

What could be the issue?

Press Command-comma or click Final Cut Pro->Settings;

Click "Destinations", then select "Add Destination":

Drag "Compressor Presets" to the left side of the window to add a new destination; select the custom preset you want:

Does FCP have Full Disk Access enabled in System Settings->Privacy & Security?

There are dot release updates for FCP to 11.1.1 and Compressor to 4.10.1. Not sure if either of those would address this but potentially something to try.

yeap, it does.

in theory those versions are compatible ... anyway I have to instal compress 4.9 and now it works! thanks for your support!

Thanks for the reply. I know how to do what you just explained, the issue is in the list of presets I cannot see the same list that I see in the compressor app , neither the default ones nor the the ones I created ... any idea why is this happening ?

What are your project properties? Could you show the specs of the MPEG-4 shangai preset?
