The Apple Music App destroyed my music library

All my playlists are gone, reenabled music subscription, and boom everything went. Only old deleted playlist show up now.

Something similar happened to me when I had iTunes Match. I had too much content that couldn't be Matched. It destroyed whole albums and Playlists! Unfortunately my subscription was for a year. I should have tried to end it early. This is why I never subscribe to Apple Music +.

Turn off Wi-Fi for any iOS/iPadOS device that has been configured to sync over Wi-Fi. Reboot your computer. Press and hold down option while launching Music. You should now be able to create a new empty Music library which will populate with your iCloud Music Library if you enable Sync Library. You can (re)import locally stored media if required rather than downloading it.
