Apple Watch Ultra 2 issues during scuba diving

I did a series of diving recently using my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I dove for 5 days using it and I run into some worries about using it.

Oceanic+ works OK divewise. I just want to bring up two points

a) every dive starts by it asking me if I am fit to dive. Well I am clearly diving so what would matter? I just think it should start giving info about the dive.

b) in one dive my compass that I use on the same arm accidentally hit action button and started a workout routine. Then later in the water it was IMPOSSIBLE to cancel the workout and star the diving. luckily I was wearing a backup dive computer otherwise I would be blind throughout the dive!

Well if the watch senses a dive it should switch to dive mode!

Is there a workaround? configuration option?

The Apple Watch Ultra should never be your only device you rely on while diving:

Underwater activities are risky. The Depth app isn't a dive computer and doesn't provide decompression stop information, gas analysis or other recreational scuba diving functionality. If you're using Apple Watch Ultra where the failure of the device could lead to death, personal injury or severe environmental damage, always use a secondary depth gauge and timer/watch. Before going on a dive, ensure your Apple Watch Ultra is free of cracks or other damage.
