Using Apple Intelligence/Siri for fiction writing

Due to numerous posts about Apple Intelligence Beta having a tendency to use large amounts of computer resources, I turned it off when I first upgraded to Sequoia on my M1 Mac Mini. As a writer, I've been exploring use of AI tools as a means to edit, rewrite etc but NOT for the creative process which is personal. Furthermore stories written with AI can't be copyrighted or trademarked.

That said, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage I'm curious if others in the community use it and if so, what their feelings are. I notice in 15.5 it still shows Apple Intelligence with the Beta icon, so I hesitate to use it until its moves out of beta. Thanks
