How can I stop Safari from showing virus alerts?

Small message box keeps popping up top right saying "13 viruses detected..." every 30 seconds or so. Tried quitting Safari but it still pops up. how do I get rid of it?

These are notifications from the website(s) you visit.  At some point you were asked to allow these notifications from that website and you clicked in the affirmative. Notifications can be turned off for websites and apps.  Apple's guidance is here: Turn off notifications for an app or website on Mac - Apple Support
