How does Apple Music compare to iTunes on Windows?

I found the Apple Music app to download to the pc, it works on Windows 10 & 11 although I find it buggy and laggy with music stopping sometimes. Thought I would try it and I found that it only leaves podcasts on the iTunes software if you choose to change the app or keep both

I’m not happy with the fact that if you’re using Apple Music with your own library and have the option of the iTunes Store enabled if you wish, there is no option to convert downloaded music files to Wav or MP3 in the newer app and got to stick with iTunes instead

I like the look of it as it shows the background nicely as it would on an iPad full screen.

If Apple added the convert option into the Apple Music app on a PC, I’d change over.
