Logic Pro not letting me change Input Audio
I have been using Logic Pro on my iMac 2019, Intel i9, 5k. I have an audio interface from Universal Audio UAD apollo x8. It has been working fine until last 2-3 weeks I started getting issues. I have removed Wave Plugins (then re-installed), UAD driver removed and reinstalled, Komplete Instruments reinstalled, Logic Pro removed/reinstalled version 11.2. Mac OS is Sequoia 15.5. Logic did an initial Audio scan (took almost 4 days). Now if I open Logic, it takes very long to load (at system level it shows Not Responding), however, if I leave it for some time it loads.
The issue I am having is, Logic - Audio Output is set as Universal Audio and I can hear properly using my audio interface, however, the Input is set as Internal Microphone. When I am trying to change it to UAD or any other option, the application goes into Not Responding and I have to Force Quit. I am not able to record anything via my Microphones connected using my audio interface. I checked Plugin Managers, the plugins which are validated successfully on those are checked, any plugin which is not validated successfully they are unchecked.
As you can see above, I have pretty much tried everything, but still not being able to solve the issue with the Audio Input and I really need to get some recordings done. I have also removed the audio file which logic creates after audio scan and then rescanned the audio plugins, still no luck. I have ran out of options and really need to sort it out. Any help is greatly appreciated as I don't know what else I could try to make it work.
Thank you.
