Grayed-out 'Invite' button in Family Sharing on iPhone and Mac

Hello, I'm having trouble inviting users to my family group. There were six people in it, but I removed two. We're now down to four. Now I want to invite my son, but I can't. The button in the top left is grayed out. What can I do?

No "Add Family Member" button on the Settings > Family Sharing screen? There are a tonne of "answers" that just say "Go to Family Sharing, and click the button on the top to add a family member." Well, I don't have that button. What gives?

Family Sharing - can't add family member Recently I deleted 2 unneeded accounts from the Family group as we were at 6 members. I now need to add my daughter and we have a total of 4 members currently. Unfortunately the blue icon in the upper right hand corner of Family settings is greyed out. How do I fix that?

Add Member on Family Sharing button not working I am running iOS 16.1 on an iPhone 12 max. I’m trying to add another family member to my family sharing and when I get to the part and click on the blue add button, it brings up a screen with a spinning wheel, which stays on for a couple of seconds and then disappears putting me back to the add family screen.
