How to reset Apple Watch without losing locally stored health data?

Hi all,

Hoping someone here can offer some insight or advice.

It turns out my Apple Watch has been disconnected from my iPhone for about two weeks, and I only just realized it. During that time, it’s continued collecting health data, but none of it has been backed up to the iPhone since they weren’t connected.

Now I’m trying to reconnect the Watch to my iPhone, but the Watch doesn’t show up in the Watch app. I can't unpair it from the iPhone since it's not visible there, and I can’t pair it again either. I’m considering resetting the Watch, but I’m really concerned about losing the health data it’s been storing all this time.

Does anyone know:

  1. Is there a way to reset or reconnect the Apple Watch without losing its locally stored data?
  2. Any workarounds that would let me back up the Watch data before resetting?

I’d really appreciate any guidance you can share—trying to avoid losing all that information if possible. Thanks in advance!
