I am having a few of the reported problems others are having. The worst are Gmail not sending or receiving in a timely manner. Other issues are similar in that restarts of Gmail don’t fix the problem. Sometimes a complete logout and restart of the computer works. It is frustrating when you know answers are coming but Gmail will not download.

email is not instant messaging. emails are routed through numerous nodes/servers and delays may occur at any point along the route.
