Tried to download macOS Sierra 3 times but the thing doesn’t work

Whenever I download MacOS Sierra I keep seeing the progress bar jumping so I thought, oh, wow , so fast… until the thing shows ‘about -399 seconds remaining’ and then they show an error message… HELP!

I found at my MacBook Pro was a late 2011 MacBook Pro now I am on high Sierra and is trying to upgrade to Catalina so ye thank
