How can I stop Google pop-ups in Safari?

Every week i get a pop up from google trying to get me to use another app, how can i stop this?

That is not required.


A search doesn’t specifically address that issue.


Not surprising. You are using Google, are you not? Expecting Google to help you stop using Google is not reasonable.


Since Google owns YouTube they are not likely to change. Either Use Distraction Control in Safari to hide items on a webpage, tell the website developer (Google) to remove them, or stop patronizing the website (YouTube).

It does not have to. You can change your search engine to another one if you don’t want to use Google and avoid th3 suggestions to use its App. Settings ➡️ Apps ➡️ Safari ➡️ Search Engine.
