getting notices from mac-uptodate.com

iMac 2015 intel using Monterey 12. Getting hack notifications from Mac-uptodate.com. Can anyone explain this and how to eliminate it? Thanks.

Those are attempts to scam you. Your Mac cannot be scanned for malware by a website.


 If the notices appear from the top-right corner of the screen then they are notifications from the website(s) you visit.  Notifications can be turned off for websites and apps.  Apple's guidance is here: Turn off notifications for an app or website on Mac - Apple Support
