Fast forward and backward not working in Apple Music on MacBook Pro

I've seen several posts about how this is an on-going problem. Has anyone found a solution to being able to fast forward / backward, or skip ahead / back 5 or 10 or 15 seconds in a song? Fixing this would be much appreciated, Apple!

Apple Music cross fade not working on Mac Studio I have multiple playlists set up on my old iMac at home. Yesterday the cross fade function was working, and today it won't. I have both Lossless audio and Dolby Atmos turned off. In frustration, I then tried my newish office computer Mac Studio 2022, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I have tried playing songs that are streaming, and those that are downloaded. The closest I can get is that it will chop the last 6 seconds off the song (but only if I have the cross fade slider set at 12 seconds). My OS on the Mac Studio is Ventura 13.2.1. I am playing music through the computer's speakers. Is there some other setting that I am missing?

Trackpad Gestures don't work in Apple Music In Apple Music, for some reason trackpad gestures—specifically, swiping forward and backward—don't work. This has been the case across two macbook pros. Currently, I'm using a macbook M2 pro with Ventura 13.4.1.

The equalizer for specific song is not working on Apple Music There is a feature in Apple Music that allows you to apply individual equalizer and volume adjustments for each song. (Link: Adjust the sound quality in Music on Mac - Apple Support) I am currently using Apple Music on an M2 MacBook. However, the individual equalizer presets are not working. Here are the attempts I have made to resolve the issue: Disabled Sound Enhancer and Normalizer. Changed the options for the directory where the songs are downloaded. Enabled the global equalizer. I have also attempted to try similar answers discussed in the community, but the individual equalizer still doesn't work. Are there any specific conditions under which the individual equalizer works?
