AirDrop works from iPhone to MacBook but not back

Suddenly, out of the blue, I can no longer airdrop anything from my MacBook to my iPhone ("No People Found"), but I have no problem airdropping anything from my iPhone to my MacBook.

It worked for ages and ages without a problem.

Yes, all my operating systems and software are up-to-date.

I tried all the usual tricks: Restarting, deleting and reinstalling, checking, unchecking, switching WiFi off and on, the whole shebang. To no avail.

Very, very strange that it works fine one way and not the other.

How to solve this?

By the way, I now move pics on my iPhone to Notes, and then on my MacBook I can capture the pics from Notes. Nice run around, but it should not be this way.
