I have the 16 pro and up till now had no issues with it working on CarPlay. But the last few days when I get an WhatsApp car play will not read who it’s from or the message, just says want to reply. I don’t have Face ID turned on for the app and not change anything please help.

I have the same but on an IPhone 15. Shows I have messages but doesn’t read it, just asks if I want to reply to the message that I have not heard.

i found a work around but it’s not ideal. If you set the CarPlay settings to announce new messages. It will read the messages but will not tell you who it’s from. Not ideal but it works.
