Why can’t I play the song “Golden” from the movie Kpop Demon Hunters not available on Apple Music or iTunes?

Recently purchased the album for KPOP Demon Hunters on Apple iTunes and Apple Music Australia as I am obsessed with the songs. But noticed the one song that doesn’t play and keeps saying “This content isn’t available” is the song called “Golden”. I don’t understand why, I read online that it is possibly a licensing thing but if all the other songs on the album are available and the movie is already streaming on Netflix Australia, I don’t understand why this song then isn’t available. Would appreciate help or help explanation as I have fully paid for the album.

In general if you have an issue with a purchase you can use the https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ pages to try to get things resolved with Apple. Rights holders can sometimes withdraw content from the store but that seems unlikely for an album that was (presumably) released recently. In fact, only yesterday I see. FWIW that track plays in Apple Music in the UK. It may be that it hasn't been properly uploaded to the Apple Music Australia servers. If there were rights issues in Australia then you would more normally have been offered a partial album that would omit any tracks that are not released in that region, which would have been apparent when you made the purchase, and the price should have reflected that in some way.


In some cases Apple may also give seemingly inconsistent error messages when a track hasn't been downloaded correctly. Most often can result in repeated requests to authorise an already authorized computer, but on iPhones this may display as "Content not available in your region" or similar, even when it clearly is. The message "This content isn’t available" has been talked about here in the past, but at the moment I can't find any of those discussions. (Despite being part of this community for many, many years, I have never found the search facility useful. Not once!)


From memory I think the first thing to try is signing out of your account and then signing back in. If you continue to see the same message for that song, try deleting it from your library and then re-downloading it.
